Driftlands Escape

Driftlands Escape drops you onto a chain of floating islands with almost no instruction. You explore, poke at machinery, and slowly piece together how to move between them. It trusts you to figure things out, which feels rare.

The puzzles are environmental rather than abstract, so solving them feels like understanding a place instead of beating a brain-teaser. The art direction is gorgeous and the ambient soundtrack pulled me right in. A calm, confident adventure game.
