Ironvale Siege
★★★★★ 4.7
Ironvale Siege is the kind of tower defence game that makes you redraw your plan after every failed wave. You place towers along winding paths, but the twist is that terrain height changes range and damage, so where you build is as important as what you build.
The campaign ramps up steadily, introducing new enemy types that force you to rethink old layouts. By the mid-game I was pausing constantly to juggle upgrades. It rewards patience and punishes autopilot, which is exactly what I want from the genre.
